Welcome to the Creative Arts Toolkit

Hello and Welcome to the Creative Arts Toolkit

The toolkit is for you to use both when you start studying here and if you are returning for a new year of study. The site is intended to help overcome the sheer overload of information that we all experience, breaking down key information into bite-sized chunks helping you to navigate your way round more easily – especially supporting the start-up period and available on your smart phone, tablet or desktop computer. As the year progresses the content will be updated or extended to fit with what you need, after you have settled in to your studies. The focus is on your success as a student and on what we provide in the Creative Arts. We have developed this in-house with current students involved, so I hope that it will help you on the who, where, what and why of the School. There is a mixture of summary information as well as links through to other more extensive material. This is a live interface, so let us have your feedback at the bottom of each article (or submit general comments on our Help page) and we will respond to your points as much as possible.

We hope the Toolkit will become an essential resource for key information about the School. However, StudyNet should remain your first port of call for information on your modules and central University services.

So welcome to new students and welcome back to those of you who are returning to your studies in the School of Creative Arts – we wish you all success in your studies,

Phil Healey
Dean of School of Creative Arts
