The Creative Arts Toolkit launched in August 2014 with the aim of making it easier for students in the School of Creative Arts to find critical information relating to their study.
Using the site couldn’t be easier – just type a keyword into the search bar (for example, ‘Referencing’) and we’ll give you a list of pages that fit your query. Simple!
If you’re just browsing, hit ‘Online Guides’ at the top of the page and you’ll find all of the information in the Toolkit categorised into bite-sized chunks.
Everything in one place
If you’re a returning student, you should be familiar with the Student Handbook and the Study Skills Guides. These two essential resources have now joined forces to become part of the Toolkit. We’ve also added information on accredited work experience, study abroad opportunities, maps of the School, information on our technical resources, key contacts… and there’s more to come!
Keep it in your pocket!
The Toolkit contains everything you need to be a successful Creative Arts student. To make this information as accessible as possible, the site has been designed to work beautifully on smartphones, tablets and your desktop computer. Save the site to your bookmarks, or add it to your mobile device’s homescreen. We even made a nice app icon for it!
Your feedback will help us make the Tookit as useful as possible. At the bottom of every article, you’ll find a couple of feedback buttons. If you found the article useful, it would be nice to let us know. If you didn’t find it useful (maybe it was incomplete or confusing) please tell us. Hit the thumbs down and let rip in the comment area. It’ll help us improve the site.
We hope we’ve covered nearly all aspects of life in the School of Creative Arts in the Toolkit, but if you think there’s something missing, we want to know! Use the feedback form below, and we’ll do our best to get back to you with the information you’re after, and add it to the Toolkit.
